Corban & Blair – designers & manufacturers of marketing, presentation and gift products.
Corban & Blair was born out of an idea to work creatively. Co-founders and cousins Gillian and Amanda along with their team create engaging, innovative and continually evolving product solutions.
Gillian and Amanda opened a niche in Australian designer paper products in 1988. As the market changed, they too evolved to match market needs, creating new product styles in an array of materials manufactured in Australia, New Zealand and China.
They carefully select materials and techniques, and collaborate with other artists such as Indigenous designer Lucy Simpson to produce products that delight.
Lucy Simpson is a Yuwaalaraay woman (northwest New South Wales) currently living in Sydney.
She is the founder of design studio Gaawaa Miyay (river daughter) Designs. Through her contemporary work in design Lucy uses visual narratives to connect, share and celebrate aspects of language story, country and contemporary Aboriginal culture. The work Lucy creates brings to life Yuwaalaraay country and perspective, and is infused with the philosophies of Aboriginal design, personal experience and old story.
