Pearl Moon considers herself a textile sculptor rather than a two dimensional artist. Each adornment is carefully handmade with shaped pieces of cloth, painted with thread, beads and textile paint to create a miniature wearable sculpture. As a person on the autism spectrum Pearl has honed her inherent ability to focus on minuscule detail to the benefit of her art practice.
