Carlos Gomes is a multi-disciplinary artist working across performance, painting and ceramics. On display at Object Shop are a range of vessels from a series called 'Storms', which are hand-built, monumental vessels, layered with experimental glazes. Carlos also introduces porcelain vases that arise from a 3D digital design process. These works express new ideas and possibilities in the world of ceramics.
