These earrings were beautifully handcrafted using Silver and a demolished kitchen flue range hood and upcycled into these contemporary designed earrings. Made by hand including pulling apart with an angle grinder then gently redesigned & reshaped in the workshop. By purchasing these you are making an eco green choice, upcycling and protecting our precious planet.

Little Anvil Studios | Misa Gelin is a Swedish contemporary jeweller based in Queensland's Noosa Hinterland Australia. As a career artist Misa regularly participates in exhibitions and sells her work locally, nationally and internationally. Misa studied Gold and Silversmithing Fine Art at RMIT University and Ceramic Design Applied Art at Monash University.
In this recent jewellery series, mediums include recycled materials from the waste of our modern throw away society. Items predominately from the building industry such as kitchen sinks and range hood flues are transformed from waste into unrecognisable wearables that are colourful, playful and designed with an almost industrial feel.
