Pendant Sterling Silver Pirouette
Emily Copp's "Pirouette" series utilises Computer Aided Design and 3D printing to create swirling organic forms, which are then cast in sterling silver or 3D-printed using colourful laser-sintered nylon.

Emily Copp is a contemporary metalsmith who works with a fusion of both old and new technologies and materials. She has presented work in many group shows, as well as exhibiting solo, and currently practices from her studio in Sydney’s vibrant inner west.
Growing up in country NSW followed by 7 years running a horse ranch in the mountains of Southern Spain, has given Emily has a strong connection to land and a particular interest in water sustainability issues. Environmental and ethical concerns inform and motivate her works which meander through the design and creation of both jewellery forms and tableware objects.
Emily is a Resident Artist and Director at SquarePeg Studios in Marrickville, alongside teaching various classes in SquarePeg Studio’s classroom. Emily also moonlights as a sessional lecturer and technical officer at the University of NSW Art and Design Campus.
