Mud Dept. is all about a slower life with beauty and simple richness. Founded by Lea Durie, Mud Dept. crafts pottery tableware and planters by hand. Their work is made of earthy stoneware clays, mostly thrown on a pottery wheel. The pots are fired in a kiln twice to create the wonderful dark speckled clay and muted glaze tones.
