Inspired by Katie's grandmother’s china collection, the Gold Rimmed Whiskey Glass is a playful addition to your collection, imitating antique glassware with a modern form.

Designed to fit perfectly in the user’s hand, each glass is hand blown, hand painted with gold lustre and fired in the kiln, leaving them a slightly warped cylinder.

These glasses make the perfect gift for somebody who has everything.

Designed to be both functional and practical, Katie aims to change the conventional expectations of tableware, and have us view each piece as both a piece of contemporary design and an object of use.

Katie-Ann Houghton is an Artist, Designer and Maker based in Sydney, Australia. Her contemporary works are inspired by early 20th Century Design and embody a decade long passion for traditional Venetian glassmaking techniques.
