Hoop Earrings Shady Days Stamens Aqua / Green

Drawing their shape from eucalyptus stamens, Vicki Mason’s fringed hoop earrings are handcrafted in her Melbourne studio. Each strand is hand threaded into an oxidised sterling silver hoop to create these statement pieces.

Vicki Mason’s jewellery practice is predominantly research based. Utilising plants as motifs and symbols, she unpacks our relationship with them- telling stories about life in contemporary Australia whilst also building knowledge and awareness of the natural world in a technologically focused age. Vicki is interested in reinterpreting historical forms of jewellery as well as working with waste and remnant materials.
