Nested Bowls Transpiring Tales

The latest collection from Tochi, ‘Transpiring Tales’ was made specially for the Australian Design Centre and is exclusively available at the Object Shop, featuring earthy toned homewares. Sold as set of two bowls.

Materials: Black stripes on brown clay (MF clay)

TOCHI means 'to start with earth' and from earth is where passion for clay begins and everything it represents; the artist uses this primal ingredient to unleash creativity and gives her work personality and soul. Like characters in our favourite books, each ceramic creation tells a story. From wheel to form, everyday objects are crafted into inspiring stories written by its holder. Mavis Chan is a local Sydney artist behind Tochi Creative, and only uses local material to create her ceramic homeware.
